ABOUT THE GAME

Flamit is a fast-paced adventure puzzle game where time is your biggest enemy. You control a small living flame that constantly burns down as you move. Your goal is simple on paper: reach and light all torches before the flame goes out. In practice, every step matters. Each level is built from icy platforms, slippery surfaces, and roaming enemies that force you to think quickly and move with precision.

The game features 30 handcrafted levels set in frozen environments that challenge both your reflexes and your planning skills. Some stages reward bold movement, while others punish rushing. Along the way, you will unlock two different game modes that slightly change how you approach each level, adding replay value and forcing you to adapt your playstyle.

Flamit works best for players who enjoy short but intense levels where mistakes are costly and learning from failure is part of the fun.

How to Play

In Flamit, your flame slowly shrinks over time. Every second counts. To survive, you must reach torches scattered across the level and light them before your flame fully disappears. Lighting a torch often refreshes your flame, giving you more time to continue.

Levels are filled with icy obstacles, narrow platforms, and enemies that patrol set paths. Touching enemies or falling into hazards usually ends the run instantly. Some levels require you to choose the order in which you light torches, while others demand precise timing to cross moving platforms or enemy routes.

As you progress, the layouts become more complex, introducing longer gaps, tighter timing windows, and enemy placements that force you to slow down and plan ahead.

Flamit uses simple, responsive controls designed for quick reactions.

Keyboard Controls

Use the arrow keys or WASD keys to move your flame left, right, up, and down.
Press the jump key to leap across gaps or reach higher platforms.

Mouse Controls

Mouse input is not used for movement in this game.

Touch Controls

On mobile devices, use on-screen directional buttons to move and jump.

The controls are easy to learn, but mastering movement on slippery ice takes practice.

Tips & Strategies

Do not rush at the start of every level. Take one second to observe enemy paths and torch locations before moving.
Always plan your torch order. Lighting the wrong torch first can leave you stranded with no time left.
Short jumps are safer on ice. Long jumps can cause you to slide into enemies or off platforms.
Watch enemy timing carefully. Most enemies move in predictable loops that can be safely crossed if you wait.
If a level feels impossible, slow down. Precision usually matters more than speed in later stages.

One of the biggest misunderstandings players have about Flamit is thinking it is purely a speed game. Early levels reward quick movement, which teaches bad habits. Later stages punish those habits harshly. Sliding too fast or jumping without checking enemy timing is the main reason players lose late levels.

What separates average players from good players is patience. Good players treat each level like a small puzzle, not a race. They stop, watch enemies complete a full cycle, and choose the safest path instead of the fastest one. They also accept restarting as part of learning, not failure.
